"I was a bit hesitant to get in as I believe touting travelers is a sign of a tourist trap, when the owner approached us. I decided to try as I saw local people at a table inside. The restaurant did not disappoint us. The pastas were incredibly nice with fresh ingredients from the ocean. I can say that they were above average pastas you can find in the region. However, the salad my lady mistakenly ordered was not so fresh. The tomatoes seemed to have been in the storage for a bit long. Mozzarella was anyway nice. I can’t say that this place is a tourist trap. You get your menu and the foods are served as described in the menu with decent qualities(except for the salad). I found the owner a quite a decent person anyway. Just make sure about what you want to order from the menu, but not from what you hear. The owner spoke good English as well as good German."

"Myself and my family had a wonderful meal here! The staff were incredibly friendly on arrival and were keen to accommodate absolutely anything for us, talking through the menu and further options for personalisation if we pleased. We were seated right at the front and were never left waiting, and further, enjoyed the company of the staff. The menu was fantastic with many options; we all struggled picking exactly what we wanted from the many appealing options, but once we did we were all thoroughly satisfied with our food and drinks. I recommend the Cacio e Pepe a Mare! If we had more time in Ischia we would have had a hard time not returning, and I hope to return one day soon. Grazie mille!"
